HELPFUL way to sell your boat.....

letsbarbq	Hello wise boaters. I have been fortunate to surf the net for the past 4 months with all you wise boaters. its been fun. I don't have much to give in return for all the helpful advices. So I am gonna give only a advice. This is for any of you planning to sell your boat. I've sold my boat in order to get one step closer to my "ideal" boat. letsbarbq	When I posted my ad on http://www.boatterader.com - I just told them the price and instructed them to refer to my web page for all the details. That way you save a 100 bucks for the pictures and you can customizse whatever you wish on the web page. another thing... YOu don't get those people calling you all the time and asking for pictures , pictures, picutres. this way they'll know exactly what you have !	2002-03-13
djohns19	BBQ, Great tips, thanks. Also, remember the basics. Give the buyer, at first eyeful, more than they expected. I have NEVER had trouble selling a boat. All but once I've sold it to the first person that looked at it. Second offered more! Why? It was: 1. Clean-unbelievebly CLEAN-no surprises! 2. All the paperwork was in order. Held necessary registrations/titles to all. 3. Willing to do a "sea trial". 4. Show them how everything works. # 1 and # 2 are the most important. # 3 shows your confidence.	2002-03-13
