79 Merc bogs on accel, then fixes itself

schmoedog	I have a newly rebuilt Merc 115 fresh out of the shop. Just barely broken in. It starts fine Idles pretty good,(haven't really fine tuned things yet). But on acceleration I can go up about 1/4 throttle and it bogs down. If I go any farther it dies. If I stay at 1/4 throttle it eventually fixes itself and takes off and I can go any speed. Since the motor is new I was told to run double oil for a few tanks which I did. Now I've been on normal mix for 2 tanks and this is still happening. Any thoughts? Fuel starvation? Timing? I'm not really getting the speed I expected from This (Tower of Power) either. I'm running a 19 prop. Any thoughts? Thanks already because ya'll have helped me before.	2002-07-08
