jobassing I was just wondering what my boat would be worth I'm thinking of a bigger one it's a 15 ft tidecraft spitfire with a 90hp rude that has 30 hours on it all the goodies in exlent shape its not listed in nada so was wondering what to ask for it thanks this boat runs becuse of iboats so if I sell it the new owners will get this add 2002-09-19
RICKRICK1 What year boat and motor? 2002-09-19
jobassing 1990 moter 1981 boat 2002-09-20
hw8478 A 21 year old 15' boat is probably not worth a lot to a buyer who knows a bit about boats. The 30 hours on a 12 year old engine may be a strong attraction to some but others would be a bit weary and actually would prefer an engine with more time. Other buyers may listen to your 30 hour claim and say to themselves - Yeah - right! -The time of year that you put it on the market can also be a big factor.

I would try to get a sale price on a like used motor in good condition in your area and add maybe $500.00 for the boat if it is in good condition with no wood rot.

I'm going to give a wild guess that you might get $1,200.00 for it at the start of your boating season (assuming you have a trailer in average condition). Take this guess with a grain of salt as buyers (like sellers) can be completely unpredictable). I would pay no attention to the pricing guides - the market is the driver.

RICKRICK1 There is one in Oklahoma that's priced at $4000 and has been up for sale over a year, 1983. In my area if well taken care of might bring $2000 if buyer knows seller. Quick quess would be no more than $1500. I have an 1984 tidecraft double console which needed lots of TLC when I got it. No motor but did come with HB depth finder, trolling motor, and bilge and livewell pumps worked. Had bad floor by drain and needed carpet. also got the trailer for $350.00 from a freind who bought it for the 65hp 87 Suzuki. He did not want to mess with it (boat) and sold it to me to get it out of his driveway. Have been offered $1000 for it but its mine and paid for. 2002-09-20
