Engine control system......help?

sicoe	I'm buying a boat, and the manufacturer has given me the option of three control systems, I havn't got a clue what any of them are, can someone help explain? 1. ke-4 electric remote control sys. 2. hydraulic remote control system MC-T4-T 2D 3. mechanical engine control sys. if anyone knows what they are, and the pros and cons please let me know, Thanks	2002-12-15
snapperbait	Depends on the boat... Are the controls for a single helm station or dual station?... The mechanical controls work fine for a single station and in my opinion are simpleist and are easy to mantain and repair... Hydraulic and electric controls would be a better choice for dual station applications with hydraulic being my choice...	2002-12-15

rickdb1boat	Since it is a dual station, I would opt for the hydraulic steering(Power Steering). Pretty much like you would have in an automobile. Barely no feedback and easy to maneuver.
