Garmin gpsmap 162

mattttt25	Can get one real cheap. two questions- 1. pros/cons? anyone have experience with one? I know its a cheap model, but is it worth anything? 2. the deal doesn't come with the computer plug and cd's. my uncle has the exact one. can I use his plug and cd's to download info into my unit? thanks-	2002-12-26
J.B. Cornwell	Hi, Mattttt. I have a 162 and I think it's the best value in a fixed mount unit. You can use your uncle's software except for blue charts or fishing hotspots. The license you buy to use them is specific to one unit, but you can buy license for your unit throught his software. Good luck.	2002-12-26
